Joyce - Salon Owner
Having worked in the industry for over 45 years, Joy still has an amazing passion for her craft, this reflects in her extensive and loyal clientele. She has been at the helm since Kalikose opened its doors in 2005.
Joy has gained a wealth of experience during her career, this includes being a trainer and style director for Glemby International London. Manager of Ian Cameron Hair and Beauty Spa in Edinburgh. Hairstylist to the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company Edinburgh and Lecturer of Hairdressing at Reading College (TVU). Joyce is also a qualified Assessor enabling her to pass on her skills to her students. She is also a Senior State Registered Hairdresser.
Joy loves spending time with her grandchildren and claims it keeps her young at heart. She loves the great outdoors, walking and cycling. She has a passion for nature and protecting the environment.
Eugenie - Executive Stylist
Eugenie has over 30 years experience in the hairdressing industry and has been with Kalikose for over 15 years.
Eugenie’s excellent level of customer care and attention to detail ensures her popularity with her existing clientele and attracting new clients of all ages.
Eugenie excels in all aspects of hairdressing and is Kabelo trained which is an award winning hair smoothing system.
Tracey - Executive Stylist
Tracey is a fully qualified Hair Designer of 22 years- she has an NVQ level 2&3 in Hairdressing , S.A.M 2000 advanced hairdressing qualification , and a Patrick Cameron advanced diploma in hair up .
She has previously been on extensive courses with 365 day hairdressing,L’Oréal ,belevance ,L’anza, Paul Mitchell, Tigi and GHD.
When Tracey was younger she had previously competed in many competitions and hair shows, and spent eleven years working in two of the top 5 star salons in Wokingham before she went self employed with her own home salon while her children were small .
Tracey is thrilled to now be working with the team at Kalikose and to be back in the salon environment which she has missed immensely.
Karen - Executive Stylist
Karen (Kaz) has been in the hairdressing industry for more years than she’d like to say… she love’s hairdressing with a passion and feel’s it’s not a job but a way of life. Making a client feel better by the service is a fantastic feeling and Karen love’s creating a new “You”.
Karen’s hobbies are crafting and creating floral arrangements, hampers of home-made produce, keeping fit and she love’s days out with her family and grandchildren.
Karen’s greatest achievement is running the London Marathon and raising nearly £6000 for the Stroke Association and running it in 5 hours and 20 mins…
